In love with my couch! Worth the wait! The setting up is very easy, did it by myself. The material is very soft and comfortable to sit on-I haven't slept on it yet. The arm cushion is pretty sturdy but still soft and supports my back well. Very spacious! Can easily sleep two people spaciously. Highly recommend!!
Although the delivery took a little long(about 8 weeks), it was definitely worth the wait. The sofa is so comfy, the quality is great, and the colour we choose (light green) is so beautiful. I’m also finding so many ways to set it up —it’s really up to you how you want to relax with it!
Love the couch, so comfortable and you can set it up where you like. Love how you can remove the whole fabric wash it or get another set on the couch as well. Just wish there was more colours and different fabric
Sizes
Height 76 cm. Lay the back cushions flat to make the bed. Seen from above; not to scale between models.
A corduroy sofa bed for everyday living
Most sofa beds are a compromise: a thin mattress folded inside a stiff sofa. The Nova is built the other way round. It is a deep, low, comfortable corduroy sofa first – the kind you sink into for a movie – and when a friend stays over you take the back cushions down, lay them flat and you have a bed. There is no metal frame or pull-out mechanism to squeak, pinch fingers or break.
It suits apartments, studies, spare rooms and teenagers’ rooms, and it is light enough for two people to move around.
Sizes
- 2m: 200 W × 100 D × 76 H cm, weight about 40 kg
- 1.5m: 150 W × 100 D × 76 H cm – for smaller rooms and balconies-turned-studies
Need more seats? The Nova range also comes as an open L corner, a closed L corner, a compact Flex corner and a matching round-arm chair. Check our size guide before you order.
What it is made of
- Filling: high-resilience cold-cure foam (27 kg/m³ and 25 kg/m³) – supportive enough to sit up on, comfortable enough to sleep on.
- Cover: soft corduroy that zips off for washing. Replacement covers mean you can change colour later without buying a new sofa.
- Support: polished iron bars underneath.
Care tips are in our fabric and care guide.

Nova Sofa Bed
Questions about the Nova Sofa Bed
How does the Nova turn into a bed?
Take the back cushions down and lay them flat – that is your bed. There is no metal frame or pull-out mechanism to squeak, pinch fingers or break, and it is light enough for two people to move around.
Should I choose the 2m or the 1.5m?
The 2m is 200 W × 100 D × 76 H cm (about 40 kg). The 1.5m is 150 W × 100 D × 76 H cm, for smaller rooms and studies. Our size guide shows how to check your space.
Is it comfortable to sleep on?
It is filled with high-resilience cold-cure foam (27 kg/m³ and 25 kg/m³) – supportive enough to sit up on, comfortable enough to sleep on. It is an everyday sofa first that doubles as a bed for guests. Comparing options? Read sofa bed vs guest bed.
Can I wash the cover or change the colour later?
The corduroy cover zips off, so you can wash it. Replacement covers are sold separately, so you can change colour later without buying a new sofa. Care tips are in our corduroy care guide.
It arrives compressed – when can I use it?
Unpack it in the room where it will live and allow 6–10 hours for the foam to fully expand before you sit or sleep on it.
How long does delivery take?
Colours marked In stock leave our Melbourne warehouse within 2 business days. Everything else is made to order: allow about 3–7 weeks until dispatch. Transit then takes about 2–3 business days to Melbourne metro, 3–6 to Sydney, 5–8 to Brisbane, Canberra and Adelaide, and 10–14 to Perth (all delivery times). Your estimated delivery date is shown at checkout before you pay.
Can I see the colour before I order?
Yes. Order a fabric swatch ($6.99) to see and feel the corduroy at home – swatches arrive in about 3–8 business days. All 17 colours are the same corduroy, so Nova pieces match.

Extremly happy with my Teddy Sofa purchase. Easy to set up, comfy and perfect for my space. Great communication received from the company and arrived quicker than expected.
In love with my couch! Worth the wait!

Highly recommend!!
Finally received my sofa today and it is everything I dreamed of. It is so comfy and I love it so much. Took 3 months to deliver but was worth it. I was cautious at first since it is a new website, but they were so accommodating and eased my concerns every step of the way. If you are looking for the dupe of the sofa everyone is raving about this is it.
Beautifully done. Nice shape and looks exactly as the photos.
Love the couch, so comfortable and you can set it up where you like. Love how you can remove the whole fabric wash it or get another set on the couch as well. Just wish there was more colours and different fabric
