Our fabrics
The Nova range is covered in soft corduroy – a hard-wearing fabric with raised ribs (the “wale”) that hides everyday marks well. Other products list their fabric on the product page. Order a fabric swatch to see and feel colours at home.
Everyday care
- Vacuum once a week with a soft brush attachment, working along the ribs.
- Plump and turn cushions regularly so they wear evenly.
- Keep sofas out of strong direct sun where you can – all fabrics fade over time.
- Brush the pile gently in one direction if it gets flattened.
Spills
- Blot straight away with a clean, dry cloth – do not rub.
- Dab with a little cool water and mild soap, then blot dry.
- Let it air dry and brush the ribs back into place.
Washing covers
Nova covers zip off. Before washing, check the care label sewn into the cover and follow it. Wash all covers of one sofa together so the colour stays even, and refit them while slightly damp for an easier fit.
Foam cushions
New foam arrives compressed: allow 6–10 hours after unpacking to fully expand. Do not put foam in a washing machine or dryer.
