30-Day Home Trial

You can’t sit on a sofa before you buy it online, so we give you 30 days to live with it at home. If it isn’t right for your space, tell us and we’ll sort out the return.

How it works

1. Live with it. Your 30 days start on the day your order is delivered. Unbox it, let the foam expand, sit on it and sleep on it.
2. Tell us within 30 days. Email support@ozsofa.com with your order number and a few photos of the item.
3. We arrange the return. How it comes back depends on where you live (below). Once it’s back with us and checked, we refund you to your original payment method within 5 business days.

What a return costs

Where you live	Return
Melbourne free-pickup zone – suburbs within about an hour’s drive of our Melbourne warehouse, listed below	Free – we pick it up from your home
Anywhere else in Victoria	$99 pickup from your home, taken off your refund
Other states and territories	20% of the order price, taken off your refund. Send it back to our Melbourne warehouse yourself, or ask us to arrange the pickup – the fee is the same either way

The fine print

• The trial covers sofas, sofa beds, chairs and ottomans. Fabric swatches can’t be returned; replacement covers can be returned unused, in their original packaging, within 30 days (return postage is paid by you).
• The item must be clean and undamaged – no stains, tears, burns, pet damage or strong odours – and come back with its cover and any parts it came with.
• It doesn’t need to go back in its original box (foam can’t be re-compressed at home). For a pickup, please wrap it in a sheet or plastic so it stays clean.
• Delivery charges on your original order aren’t refunded.
• One trial per item.
• The trial is extra to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If something is faulty or arrives damaged, see our returns and refunds policy and 3-year warranty – you’re never charged for those.

Melbourne free-pickup zone

These suburbs are within about an hour’s drive of our Melbourne warehouse (drive time without traffic). If your suburb and postcode are on the list, pickup is free.

Near the edge of the zone and not sure? Email support@ozsofa.com with your suburb and we’ll check.
