The open Nova corner is two sofa modules set at a right angle, with one open end so you can sit, lie back or put your feet up. It sits low to the floor with rounded arms and thick bolsters – comfortable for a whole evening on the couch.
When someone stays the night, lift the back cushions down and lay them flat. The 2 × 2m layout makes a bed of about 200 × 200 cm with no frame to unfold.

What it is made of
Filling: high-resilience cold-cure foam (27 kg/m³ and 25 kg/m³), firm enough to sit up on and soft enough to nap on.
Cover: soft corduroy that zips off, so you can wash it or swap it for a new colour later.
No mechanism: no metal frame, springs or pull-out parts to break. You make the bed by moving the cushions.
Legs: polished iron bars underneath the modules.

Colours marked In stock are dispatched from our Melbourne warehouse within 2 business days. Everything else is made to order: allow about 3–7 weeks until dispatch, then 2–18 business days in transit depending on your city (see delivery). Shipping is worked out by weight and state at checkout, and the checkout shows an estimated delivery date for your postcode. Lay the back cushions flat and the 2 × 2m layout makes a sleeping area of about 200 × 200 cm – there is no frame or mechanism to unfold.
Which side is the open end?
On the 2 × 2m layout the open end can go on either side. For the 2 × 1.5m layout choose Right or Left – the side of the open end as you face the sofa. Left and right explained.
Will it fit in my room?
The 2 × 2m layout is 300 W × 200 D × 76 H cm and the 2 × 1.5m layout is 250 W × 150 D × 76 H cm. Mark the shape on the floor with tape and check your doorways, stairs and lifts first – here is how to measure.
Can I wash the cover or change the colour later?
The corduroy cover zips off, so you can wash it. Replacement covers are sold separately, so you can change colour later without buying a new sofa. Care tips are in our corduroy care guide.
