How to measure your room
- Measure the wall or area where the sofa will go. Leave about 40–60 cm of walking space in front of it.
- Mark the footprint on the floor with masking tape and live with it for a day – it is the easiest way to see whether it fits.
- For a sofa bed, also check the space in front of it when it is made up as a bed.
- For an L corner, decide which side the long end goes (see our corner sofa guide).
Getting it inside
Measure the narrowest doorway, hallway and stair turn on the way in. Our foam sofas arrive compressed in boxes, which makes them much easier to carry through tight spaces than a framed sofa. Delivery is to your ground-floor front door.
